Julian Aston is a marketing industry thought-leader with more than 40 years of experience in top-level marketing and business development positions in the U.K., Canada and the U.S. He is highly regarded for his outside-the-box, imaginative thinking, and for the experience, passion and insight he brings to all business relationships. Today, he heads intouch Business, Inc.
Julian began his career in the advertising business with the London-based Austin Knight Agency. He then developed both his graphic and entrepreneurial skills as an owner of a small printing shop when letterpress machines were still in vogue (his favorite love remains the Heidelberg 10X15 windmill platen).
In search of greener pastures, he moved to Toronto, Canada in 1974, beginning a sixteen-year stint in one of the most exciting cities in North America. Applying his graphic arts and business development skills, he built what became the third largest marketing agency of its type in the Canadian market, with offices in Toronto and Chicago, serving Fortune 500’s including Bank of America, Pepsi-Cola, Kellogg’s, American Express and many more impressive names.
Moving to Los Angeles in 1990, he focused on delivering business and marketing consulting to small to mid-market sized companies in broad-based industries, notably providing planning and fundraising services to internet start-ups while leading the double digits consultancy.
In 2006, he formed intouch Business to deliver a combination of strategic business and marketing services to North American businesses.
Julian and the intouch team combine their deep experience in the fields of business, marketing, creative and IT. In addition, intouch has established business partnerships with other industry leading companies in order to bring guidance, advice and a rich set of insights and best practices to clients facing complex situations in today’s dynamic business climate.

A graduate of London’s Christ’s College, Julian has held the position of Vice President of the Council of Sales Promotion Agencies, written numerous articles for major trade magazines including Promo, Marketing, Insurance Journal and more, and has been featured as a presenter at industry conferences. He takes an active role in his clients’ enterprises and is currently on the advisory board of three private companies.
Julian lives in Glendale, California and is happily married with a family of four children and four grand-children. His personal interests include inspiring young people in business with his involvement in the Junior Achievement organization, and in support of the American Cancer Society.
Kristen was the Director of Graphic Design at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside for 5 years where she worked on projects that ranged from restaurant menus to marketing presentations to the ultimate back-lit billboard of her dreams!
After experiencing the wrath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, she relocated to Colorado where she currently resides with her husband Randy, daughter Morgan, son Cole and kitty, Miss Gloria.
Kristen joined intouch in 2009 and is still pursuing her dreams as Creative Director for the agency.

Chris "cut his teeth" at ExactTarget with roles in sales development for a couple of years followed by a stint at Blue Hornet as an Agency Channel Director-Strategist. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, happily married with three children and residing in sunny Southern California. He is a Past President of the DMA-SC (Direct Marketing Association Southern California) –– 2007- 2009.
Michael started his career as a computer programmer, moved into database administration, and found a perfect match for his technical skills with internet marketing. Michael has been doing search engine optimization since…well… before it was search engine optimization. Michael was a key player in the marketing strategies behind Mortgage101.com which surged to the #1 position for the keyword “mortgage.” Michael is a certified Google Partner.
An artist, singer and writer, she continues to pursue her other passions with thought and enthusiasm hoping never to cease in creating inspiring and captivating works of heart. Linda now calls the beautiful South Bay of Los Angeles, California her home of creativity and inspiration.

James lives in Kent, Washington and has been happily married for over 20 years and has 3 children. James is also active in the Seattle WordPress community and volunteers at WordCamp Seattle.
After landing in the California Bay Area Debbie started working for a friend as an office manager at a very small advertising agency. She then moved on to become a project manager position at a printing and direct mail house. That was eleven years ago.
Today, Debbie’s objective is to redefine project management. She enjoys the constant change and challenges and always being open to learn about a newer, better way to do things.
Debbie lives near Sacramento with her wonderful husband, 2 crazy boys, a male dog, gecko and turtle - and 25 fish (no idea on the gender).
As an expert in Business Process Analysis and requirement definitions with the ability to apply a long-term vision for future growth, Yi uses data modeling and integration, application architecture, hands-on development, statistical analysis and strong communication skills to coordinate large-scale projects. In addition, he applies a thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Yi graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Engineering and Applied Science with a BSE, majoring in systems Science Engineering, Operations and Information Management. He also completed a MBA curriculum in Corporate Finance at the Wharton School.
